C Lazy U Ranch is at an altitude of 8,200 feet, which can contribute to dehydration. We provide all guests with reusable water bottles to fill with the fresh mountain spring water available throughout the ranch, but we suggest hydrating before coming to Colorado.
Bring sunscreen & sunglasses! There is approximately 25% less protection from the sun at this altitude so don’t forget these items—even in the winter!
The Mercantile:
If you forget to pack something, don’t worry! You can always head to the ranch store, The Mercantile, to pick up anything you may have missed. We have everything from toothpaste to the perfect boots for horseback riding.

All the Gear You Need:
For all of our various ranch activities such as fishing, mountain biking, tennis, trap shooting and archery, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating and hockey, we have the gear you will need. If you are not sure whether or not to bring something, call the Ranch Concierge at 970-887-3344.

Getting Here
Proceed south out of Denver Intl Airport until you reach I-70 West. Take I-70 exit and continue on for approx. 1.25 hours (time varies depending on time of day and traffic flow). You will pass the town of Idaho Springs. 7 miles above Idaho Springs you will come to Exit 232. The sign will say “Rocky Mountain National Park & Winter Park.” Take Exit 232 and stay on Highway 40 for approx. one hour. This is a two-lane highway that will take you over Berthoud Pass. You will pass through the towns of Winter Park, Fraser, Tabernash and Granby. Once past Granby, continue on Highway 40 for 3 miles and you will come to the junction of Highway 125. Turn right (the only way you can turn) and continue on Highway 125 for 3.5 miles. You will see a large sign over the main Ranch road, turn right to enter. See the directions on Google Maps.
Guests can fly privately into Granby or Kremmling Airports. Granby is 10 minutes away and Kremmling is 30 minutes away. C Lazy U Ranch provides complimentary pickup service from Granby and charges $35/person for pickups/drop-offs in Kremmling.

Kremmling Airport: Non-commercial airport accommodating private jets. Elevation is 7,400′, 5,500′ paved all-weather, IFR, published VOR approach and GPS. Handles minor repairs, use of hangar for small planes. Fuel available all week (Jet A, 100LL). Contact number is 970-724-0611. Notify the ranch, prior to your arrival, to arrange for shuttle service to C Lazy U from Kremmling. The ranch changes $35.00 per person per way for shuttle services.
Granby Airport: Non-commercial airport accommodating private jets. Elevation is 8,203′, 5,115′ paved all-weather, VFR, fuel available upon request. Contact number is 970-725-3347. Notify the ranch, prior to your arrival, to arrange for complimentary shuttle service to C Lazy U from Granby Airport.
Car Rentals – Great option for families and guests – We encourage guests to use their favorite travel booking website to reserve a rental vehicle.

Guests who want to book private shuttles or shared shuttles can do so via Home James. Please note that pricing To/From DIA is to Granby, CO. Shared shuttles drop guests off in Granby and C Lazy U Ranch can schedule a complimentary pickup. Granby is 10 minutes away from the ranch. Private Shuttles do door-to-door service.

Terms & Conditions
Guest Policies
Taxes and Fees—As of January 1st, 2025, room rates are subject to a 4.9% Lodging Tax (2.9% State and 2% County), which is only applied to the lodging portion of the base rate. There is also a 4.2% Food and Beverage Tax, which only applies to the Food and Beverage portion of the base rate.
C Lazy U Ranch has a 20% Resort Fee that covers services and entertainment provided throughout your stay, along with the use of all ranch amenities and facilities. The Resort Fee consists of complimentary resort-wide Wi-Fi, fitness facilities, daily newspapers, valet parking, and the use of all year-round equipment for activities. This fee is calculated using the base rate.
Deposits
Initial Deposit—Every reservation requires an initial deposit of 30% of the entire lodging amount and the Resort Fee.
Final Deposit - The remaining balance, including tax and resort fee, will be automatically applied to the credit card we have on file 60 days prior to arrival.
Final Payment
Upon check-out, you will be billed for incidentals incurred during your stay (spa services, gift shop purchases, activities with an additional charge, alcohol, etc.).
Cancellation Policy
Your initial deposit is non-refundable at the time of booking. Your final deposit will be non-refundable 60 days prior to your arrival.
